Fair questions, straight answers
What does “1 seat” actually mean?
One active staff record and one login — both of them you. It's the plan's only hard limit, and it's about people on the account, not business you do: your clients, appointments, and sales are never capped, and nothing is charged per booking or per text.
Can I text clients from my own number?
Yes — texting runs on your own number, never a shared one. Connect your own Twilio number in Settings → Messaging and client texts go out from it, with replies landing in your inbox. Until you connect it, messages are logged as previews instead of sent — nothing ever leaves from a number that isn't yours. And if a client texts STOP, they're opted out automatically.
What happens when I hire help?
You upgrade to Starter — $29 a month, unlimited seats — right from Billing, and everything carries over: clients, visit history, gift cards, settings, your booking page. No export, no re-typing, no starting over. Solo simply won't add a second seat until you do.
Do I need a credit card to try it?
No. The 14-day trial starts without a card. Set up your booking page, run a few real days through it, and add payment only if you decide to stay.
